Royal Marines

  • 7th December 2016

On 6th and 8th December year 10 were visited by a delegation from the Royal Marines Visibility Team to be put through their paces; physically and mentally.

The event, as part of Bebington High Sports College's career aspirations programme was designed to make our students more aware of the opportunities available by pursuing a career in the military, whilst also demonstrating to the students the kind of attributes they will need to thrive in the world of further education, higher education and work in general. All of the students watched a short presentation during which two of the Marines explained the many benefits they have experienced since deciding to become Marines and then for an hour the students got first-hand experience of a Marines' physical training session!

The Royal Marines said "This is the best school we've been in all term and these are some of the fittest students we have ever worked with!"
